I've been holding out on getting a PS2, but after playing the Japanese version of GT3, I'm totally sold!
The graphics are simply awesome and the car handling physics are unbelievable. If you are a pro at GT or GT3, you're in for a big surprise.
The car physics are even better and more demanding than Test Drive Lemans for the Dreamcast. For me the hardest part is learning to carefully modulate the braking power before a turn. In GT and GT2, you could mash the brakes before a turn and everything would be alright. Now if you do the same thing, you will most likely lock up your brakes and possibly throw yourself is a spin or unwanted powerslide.
The only slight glitch I've seen so far is that on some stages, there are some jaggies (not that noticable). But hopefully this will be cleaned up in the US version. Bummer no M3's! Unfortunately EA still owns the license on these cars.
