Didn't you have a 4 door 325i or 328i before your M3? And if I am not mistaken it was Bright Red. Since you've had a bright red bimmer, why not go with the Blue/Purple Pearl. It'll be unique, and a little more stealthy. And a great color as well!

This week, I HAVE to drop off my car. I'm going to take out
the M3 engine (3.0L), gearbox, shaft and differential and
the interior to paint the car.

If I strip the WHOLE car, I'm going w/the Dodge Viper GTS
Hennesey Blue/Purple Pearl. withOUT the white stripes.

my other choice is the 2001 Corvette C5 red. Both paintjobs
are going to have 5 clear coats over it.

new suspension is going on, changing the car door locks (all
five of them).

so my car is going to be out of commission for a while. once
the car is done (cosmetically) w/the factory body kit, and
the aftermarket paintjob, it's going to be shipped to AA for
the 3.2L eurospec conversion.

Thank goodness I still have three bikes lying around. Now I
have to shop for a 2002 Ford Explorer. =(.

BTW< yes my engine/gearbox/driveshaft/differential is for
