I just took my 94 318is in for service II..
apparently the shock mounts are a regular item to go bad... they flex and over time the sag... that would cause noise from the shocks... anyway.. the local Bimmer Repair shop said it would cost around $220.00 to replace (2)

Guys,
I would really appreciate if any of you guys can help me clear my confusion with your experience. I am planning to buy a 93 325I from a private seller. The car is perfect, single owner, mint condition, very well maintained, all maintenance records etc. The only problem is 90K and little shocks vibration(this doesn't happen in the highways or during the ride this will appear only when I take it on the bump or on uneven roads) I think that will be there because it is an 8 year old car. What do you think should I go for this car ? And if I am buying this one what is the safe number of miles till which I can drive this car reliably ?

Thnx.
SA
