I just went through this, replacing my Valeo. I'd recommend you get one with the same or more amps than what you have in there.

The Valeo's 105A. I ended up replacing it with a new Valeo ($225), 'cause Bosch doesn't make a 105 that'll fit. Prob. a 90A Bosch (for the 318ic) would work OK but I didn't feel like tempting fate. Prob. I could have just replaced the volt. reg. too & been all right, but I like preventive maintenance.

If my new valeo goes bonkers in 30K, I'll know I screwed up.
