I was living and working there in Napa up until December 2000, then moved to Toronto. All this talk about driving through the winding roads of Napa and Sonoma makes me want to be back there in my bimmer to cruise those roads once again... especially the drive up to Lake Berryessa.

I was driving through Napa yesterday and came upon a Porche group out on a drive. They were preparing to drive one of the windy mountain roads near there. I was tempted to join in and crash the party but decided not to.
Anyone interested in a mountain road drive? These are not highspeed roads. They are narrow very windy back roads that go over the mountain between Sonoma and Napa counties. I would consider them "technical" due to the fact that you are always turning. Max gear is 3rd. Any more and you will end up in a revine or someone's yard.
