I thought I can have a good intruction
but it look totally dif from my 325i
on mine, there is nothing connect to the oil filter :(

It's simply the idle control valve needs a clean. I've done a write-up on what it looks like and how to clean it. Go to the engine section.

Can anyone help me. This has happened to me once before and I oiled the accelerator linkage and it helped. What happens is the idle revs really high to where I need to shut the car off. Now the idle is fluctuating between 1000 and 3000 rpm's, up and down. Any suggestions? Help Please.
