318ti adding factory foglamps (archive)

I purchased a foglamp kit for my ti, unfortunately I later found out it was for the other model e36'ers. The harness has been butchered by an incompetent sterio shop. I have the kit wired, but I need help connecting the switch. Which wire must I tap into, to activate the relay. The relay has a couple of prongs: 1.#30 from the battery 2.#85 ground battery 3.#86 (connect to sidelight) 4. #87 connect to foglamps. The swich has two wires, where should I attach them. That is how I connected them, but uncertain. Please any help with this is appreciated.
