rusted upper shock mount (archive)

Tomorrow I'm on my way to Brainerd International Raceway for two days of fun, so as part of track prep I was going to remove my rebound ajustable Koni's and firm them up a bit. Much to my dismay the rear shock mounts are rusted tight to the piston rod! Despite liberal use of WD40 it won't budge and it is difficult to really put any torque on the mount as the bushing flexes. I also tried reinstalling them with the piston nut loose and driving for twenty miles on the roughest roads I could find--I was hoping the rebound force would be enough to loosen the grip.

Short of destroying the mount does anyone have any ideas on how I might liberate my shock?
