I just put in an new Clifford alarm with multiply functions..window up/ window down/ lights..and "trunk release"..As you all know, there's no switch inside the E36s for releasing the trunk. (at least not in mine...) So, I went to get one of those unlocking mechinism for those cars without power doors, hooked it up to the trunk, wired it up to the alarm...PLUS, added an extra button inside the car so that I can unlock it from inside. Sweet, huh!
