are you talkng about those "spring helper"?
I did look at them but decided not to use them because I don't want to change the spring rate and also it doesn't look really stable

All Parts houses carry a coil clamp, you can use it to clamp together or use the spacer to slide between the coils. I used to use them on my mini truck, but have not tried them on my bimmer, however it is the same principal. Good luck.
