Air conditioning fuse 39 (archive)

I turned off my car the other day and the air was working fine. I turned it back on 10 minutes later and now the air is no longer cool. Blower works fine but cold air just up and died. I have a 92 325IS and a manual so I checked all the fuses. Fuse 39 blew and still blows fuses. This one goes to the AC relay and the compressor. My question is could the relay be bad or did my compressor just up and kill over? Thanks
