Just wanted to share with everyone/anyone who wants to add a remote to their alarm that how easy it is. This worked for my 93 325i ( alpine alarm with 3 button remote ).

Here is the deal:
I did not get a remote with the car when I bought it but it did have alarm in it. So I bought one used from ebay for about $20. Opened the alarm module, as well as the remote. There is a little chip ( actually a plastic insert kind of thing with circuit on it ). Pulled it out of the remote and inserted it into the exactly similar holder on the alarm brain. Pressed the button next to the alarm. Pulled the chip out, and put it back in the remote.

And thats it, it works like a charm...
