From what I heard... There is nothing you can do about it. It has to do with the metal used. Mine acted this way for three years (occasionally of course) until I upgraded to M3 clutch & flywheel which did not have this problem. BY THE WAY, I have a 95 M3 clutch and flywheel with 70k miles for sale. STEAL them at $220 PLUS shipping! :)


Help! I have a 95 325is w/63K. I've gotten the dreaded clutch chatter a couple of times two summer ago when I got stuck in stop & go driving on the way into NYC.

Just got stuck in heavy traffic (30 mins of s&g) a few weeks ago. I haven't driven the car in about 2 week until yesterday. Now when I just drive around town I am getting the clutch chatter (outside temp is cool). Do I have to adjust or replace clutch? Any recourse against BMW NA?
