I dont know the story, what has happened has it over heated or has it been over-revved?

I had the cambelt slip on mine and it make the engine sound like an old diesel tractor and run like a dog, I dont know if this could be the cause as every other engine except the M40 uses a timing chain which I guess would be much less prone to slip.

What exactly has happened to the car?

Alright...SO this morning me and my buddy...go to my car...its for sure cooled down over night...sat a little...We put in the fluids...I start it up...Now think of a FORD F-350 turbo diesel...Thats what my car sounds like...Literally it sounds like it is a diesel...Bad news for sure i would think
