I think you may have seized the waterpump and probably the thermostat, I would replace these two and flush the coolant system and bleed any air out of it, if the engine is actually running then atleast you haven't seized it.

What sort of sounds are you getting from it?

Alright...SO this morning me and my buddy...go to my car...its for sure cooled down over night...sat a little...We put in the fluids...I start it up...Now think of a FORD F-350 turbo diesel...Thats what my car sounds like...Literally it sounds like it is a diesel...Bad news for sure i would think
