Actually this guy sounds like he has a North American spec 318i sedan, those cars have DOHC M42 or M44 engines, just like the 318is coupe and output 140bhp.

Yeah, the E36 318 doesn't have too much power anyway its 118hp dats why. I put in a K&N sportsfilter and the torque has improved slightly..but the roar makes it seem like much improved...if u want more hp, u gotta change the exhaust system, good luck!

BTW, u must put in a bodykit (recommend racing dynamics) that will improve the (already) good looks

Hey, sorry for the confusing subject line. I have a problem. My turn signals don't click or blink. This goes for the lights inside and out. Also my hazard lights don't work. Was wondering if it was a rely, a switch, a fuse or an electrical problem. Thanks.

Also, if someone gets bored and wants to answer one more question....

Is it normal for an E36 to not have much power. My 318i like sounds like a vaccum cleaner motor when in the first stages of accelleration. And I've notices it doesn't have much get up and go, as they would say. I have to say I love the car, was just dissapointed in it's accelleration.

Thanks guys and I have to say (responding to another post on the board) that I'm proud to drive my E36, automatic and all.... :)~
