Unfortunately, the general concensus about vettes is that males who drive them are muscleheads and the women that do are barbies.

I have a 328is and many people find it sexier than a vette. The vette would kick my ass in a straight line or a twisty road. But let's face it, why drive a race car on public roads? Too dangerous and expensive! I can go and have a blast in the 328is, just as long as I push the limits, I feel the adreniline pumping. Everything is balanced far better than a comparitively priced vehicle.

I think that's where the 'Ultimate Driving Machine' slogan comes from. I'll save the manual transmission for a future M3, 5.7 liter Fiero, or other hybrid/pure sports vehicle.
