My '97 328i NEEDS the clutch to be somewhat depressed in order for it to be started. No conflicts however, with my clutch stop.

ive driven lots of other e36's from 92 325, to 99 m3. none of these need to have the clutch down in order to start the car. ive even driven other 97's that didnt need the clutch down. what gives????oh, btw, its a 97 328is, and i think the production date is late 96
