I think this is the same model as the 92-95 3 series.

there are a bunch of steps here, don't pull on it! Look at the interior door handle, there should be two caps, remove those caps. There are two star shaped screws that need to be removed. In addition, you need to pry off the mirror adjuster switch. For a detailed instruction, I'd recommended purchasing a Haynes or Bentley manual. But its easy to do...



What's the trick to getting the door panel off of a 1997 328i? I am in the process of replacing the factory speakers and can't find a way in. It may be a brute force thing, but I haven't tugged too hard yet for fear of breaking something.
