the profile gasket's been replaced. They pretty consistently go around 60-70k. Mine was replaced at 68k.

If yours lasted to 100k miles, count yourself lucky.

I have a 93 318is. I heard the profile gasket should be replaced. Should i worry about anything else. Its getting close to 100,000 miles.

JUST BOUGHT THE CAR THEN READ BOUT IT..DON'T KNOW IF ITS BEEN REPLACED.BUT I HOPE IT WAS 23:22 9/23/2001 (1)
- find out where it was serviced n give em your vin maybe they'll still have the record 23:34 9/23/2001 (0)
