You're lucky it wasn't any worse pal. Those speed limit postings are there for a reason. Our cars can handle almost anything on dry pavement but are really twitchy in wet conditions. How about investing in a driver training course? Lots of fun plus you get to learn all the neat tricks of skid control,power-outs etc. Trust me its worth it. I know anyone on this board who's taken one will agree with me.
