Finally picked up me zim zimmer on Saturday, the list of costs went onto three A4 sheets and culminated in me coughing up �1400 squid, i was totally pissed off to high hell.
Should anyone else have the misfortune to give their car to a cunt who doesn't know his ass from his ECU, heres how da 1400 squid and 2 months events unfolded...

Took the car in for its MOT, it failed on the Rear Brakes (which i knew about were leaking), and he reckons there was too much play in the Steering Rack, plus also the Front section of the exhaust had some holes in it..

So seeing that this was all that needed doing, i left it with him thinking that it would be sorted by the end of the day, i couldn't have been more wrong.

By the second day, he's done the brakes and welded up the exhaust, but had ordered the wrong Steering Rack (got female instead of male pins), then waited 3 days for that to turn up.

He then noticed the exhaust was blowing near the engine, and saw the exhaust manifold gasket was flapping ( i knew about this, but he hadn't spotted it in the MOT). So he tried to remove the gasket, and said two of the studs had been welded up by somone before - I had the Gasket done last year by FastFit, and he reckons they did a botch job.

So then 4 days were wasted for him to take the Head to a Machine job and get the studs drilled out. After that he then put the head on and everything was ok, he then took it for a spin and said the temperature was showing hot on the dashboard.

He changed the Thermostat, and after that the car refused to start at all.... (at which point i threatened to kick his ass), he then thought it was the ECU, and sent it of to London to get checked(5 days), they bullshitted and said it was the worst burnt-out ECU they had ever seen, and said it couldn't be repaired, so a new one had to be ordered. New one took 4 days to arrive, he put it in and noticed that the car was running but no dashboard lights coming on. So then he thought the dash was burnt out, and ripped up the dashboard and ordered a second hand one to replace it - 6 days.

Upon putting the new dash in, the car started, lights came on, but then engine wasn't starting everytime. So he took the ECU to Bosch who said that the ECU was ok, but it was cutting off when you moved it around. So a new ECU was faulty, and was sent back to the cunts he got it off, and ordered another one - 5 days wait.

Got the new ECU a week later, put it in, and everything was ok, but engine temperature still running hot on dial - ahhhhhhh ready to kill him. So then he replaced the Thermostat, the new thermostat was also faulty, and then even still the Temperature was in the red, so he got a different temperature sensor as well.

SO 8 weeks later, i get my car back, even now the temperature sensor goes to half within 5 minutes, so i don;t know whether he's restricted it or something, and of course a hefty bill of �1400. I could have bought a car with that money.....

Next step is i'm gonna go sue Fastfit for doing a shit job on the Gasket last year and try n get some dosh back...

Plus surprise surprise, i get a letter from BMW saying "Please come and get the Steering Recall done", bastards.

These Bimmer's are fun aint they.... I'm now on packed lunches till christmas to pay the phucker off.
