opinions are like noses, everybody has one.
i have heard a radio mechanic recommend twice the filter changes as the synthetic changes. and that synthetic can go twice as long as mineral oil.
i plan to change the synthetic with the service indicator lights.
i plan to change the filter a couple times during the interval initially(about 3000 miles). it's so easy. then change filter at about 5000 mile intervals.
