: : I'm only 18 years old and I have had my 97' 328i for only about a year now. I love my car more than anything until I heard about the 340 or so horsepowered M3. I still live at home so no bills to pay. Do you think I should bust my ass for a year or two working and sell my car to buy the new M3. Insurance will go up and tires may be a problem too, but it beats wondering if my engine is going to blow by putting a turbo or supercharger on mine, wouldn't you agree?
: : Well, does anyone think it's worth it.
: I think you should go for the M5. You're living at home with no bills, so why not. Tell mom and dad that you're planning to live at home for the next 10-12 years, or at least until you hit 30. I'd bet they'd be so happy they would spring for the increased insurance. Besides, if you moved out soon, they'd miss all the rap tunes.
: No flames....just tongue in cheek. I have two kids still living at home that I'm supporting. One's 23 and the other is 25. They seem to enjoy the convenience of working minimum wage jobs while not paying rent, food, insurance. The full-time work really cuts into their social life. Any ideas on how to get rid of them?? I'm considering selling the house and getting an unlisted address.
It could be worse, at least yours didn't go three years into a private college only to decide "this isn't what I really want to do." The unlisted address was good, make sure they can't get your phone number either. Hahaha

PS I'm 16 so I wasn't talking about my kid. My oldest brother was the one who changed his mind after studying quite a bit in that area.
