I doubt that ANYONE can afford it, it depends on your other responsibilities... But I am 21, and on my second M3. My first was a 96 that I leased at 18, and my current is a 99. I have made sacrifices and had problems in the past, but luckily everything worked out for me. Don't put all your money on the line for one, it's just a car! Someday the right opportunity may present itself, then *aracadabra* there may be a bimmer in your name...
