of the least-biased people on this board. Now it's time to get an opinion from a biased one. The C43 is good for a slush box, but the E55 doesn't cost a whole lot more, has a lot more cachet, and looks a whole hell of a lot better. If it's cost effectiveness you're after, you should take a look at an S4, as JG suggested, or an Audi A6 2.7T (only $1000 more than an S4, with similar performance) if space is an issue. If you want to tune your car, pick up a slightly used A4 1.8T Quattro and have a field day. Get a PES supercharger (0-60 in 5.2 sec in a Passat), some H&R coilovers from TAP, and get the race-spec brakes from Vortrag. You won't have the razor's edge reflexes and natural-born kller balance of an M3, but you'll beat 'em on straights, and they won't pull too far away from you in turns. That's just my opinion; I could be wrong...
