Does it have a clutch? is it like a racing gearbox? If it is at all like the F1 trans. there is a TON of stuff that can be done to it to make it shift "really really" fast. All ya need is a programmer and possibly new hydraulics. are throttle blips necessary on the SMG? how about straight cut gears, I doubt it but that would be grrreat. 6 speed? Im still in school graduating next December and i plan on buying an E46 as soon as I get out, it will hit the wallet hard but hey engr. school has to pay off for something... I assume the E46 will have just a plan jane 6 speed.
