i would assume, yes

If it is at all like the F1 trans. there is a TON of stuff that can be done to it to make it shift "really really" fast. All ya need is a programmer and possibly new hydraulics.

i think the SMG matches rev, but it is not very good at it

Im still in school graduating next December and i plan on buying an E46 as soon as I get out, it will hit the wallet hard but hey engr. school has to pay off for something... I assume the E46 will have just a plan jane 6 speed.

you are right, from what i hear don't plan on the SMG coming to the US (I wish it was)
