I did some checking about this patent issue, and heres the story : Jim C. and ERT is claiming ESS is using their product and software, this has to be wrong since ESS is using their ESS BCU unit (Boost Control Unit) which leaves the standard ECU unchanged. As to the system design, ESS is offering a lot more systems, than ERT, and they also have a VT series based on a Vortech unit. I even think they have a Mercedes Bendz serie.
I gave these people a ring, and heres what I was told : ESS has bought and tested both ERT,RMS and Dinan kits previous to entering the US market, the reason was to get an edge on the US competition, by not producing systems of lower quality than what is already offered here in the US. I personally kinda understand ERT, would'nt you guys be mad if someone entered your market with a better product for 25% less price ? What is the thing to do ? TALK SOME SHIT and hope people belives you!! GO ESS!!!
