Hey, if you read back to the 1994 Car and Driver that introduced the awesomeness E36 to the USA, you will read that somewhere there in they declare that the Dakar Yellow bimmer they are testing shares only the decklid and one or 2 other things with the regular 3 series coupe... I still have that magazine in a box somewhere.. I should look it up. But my point is, BMW did it b4, they can do it again...
