Next M3 to outperform 4.7 second M5 (0-60 mph) (archive)

As many of you saw in the recent Motor Trend, the M5 ran 0-60 and 1/4 mile times close to the speed of a Ferrari F355. I called Chris BMW of Atlanta and was told that the E46 M3 will be even FASTER than the M5, although BMW won't claim it on paper because it would look bad for a cheaper car to be faster! :)
