You can't negotiate the price because nobody knows where to negotiate from. BMW has not announced a price or any options as of yet. The dealer in the Bay Area at which I am on the waiting list claims that it is against their policy to charge a dealer markup on any car (with the exception of the Z8, which is sold "at market price" kinda like lobster). I got the impression that this is BMW's policy as a company. If not so, just go to Sonnen BMW in Marin and talk to Henrica, a wonderful German lady that really knows her stuff and is extremely freindly and accomidating. Tell her Kevin from Lucasfilm sent you. She PROMISED me that I'd pay MSRP on the M3 just like my roomate did on his new 328Ci. Good luck.
