It isnt unusual for people to put money down on something they haven't really seen. For example. I know when Enzo Ferrari stated that he was to an F60, there were i think around 30 people who said they would buy one no matter the cost or what it looked like. When you deal with prestigous manufacturers such as these, you know they ain't gonna come out with a crap car, so you just put faith in their decisions on color, etc. so that you can drive they bomb car just that much earlier.
