E 46 M3 looks the business but will it be any good (archive)

Who's seen the new M3. Not bad eh lads. Problem with the E36 M3 it was too civilised, it never had the razor reactions of the E30 M3. This can also be said with the new E46. I hope this trend doesn't continue with the E46 M3.I'm expecting the superb M5 influence to rub off. From the outside (pics from frankfurt motorshow) it looks the bollocks, lets all hope it performs that way and make sure the M3 really is the ultimate driving machine not to be beaten by cheap pieces of japanese plastic.
