It's just that for as long as I can remember rice burners were always the cars that were made by Honda etc.
I understand your analogy re; the Skyline GT-r and crackers but never in an million years have I ever heard an American car called a cracker car or similar.
Let me ask you a question, if someone called a RX-7 a rice burner and you knew it was a comment aobut the origin of the car only would that offend you? (legitimate, honest question. I think we are very close to agreeing on this topic)
