After reading these posts I got nervous about getting left out and ran out to get on the "list" for the new E46 M3 and both dealers I went to here in Louisiana, looked at me like I was making something up about being on a "list". They both acted like they didn't know anything about the new M3, hell, I knew more about it than them. So, that's why i'm not all "into" this "list" shit. I don't put much stock in that "list" system, I think if you WANT the car, you can get it! Am I just missing the point or what? Was there a list required for the E36 M3? Educate me please.......
