Congrats! Probably will be quite a crowd waiting before first delivery comes. But from what I was told, you might see that new ride before the end of 2000. I'm #6 on list in Atlanta and was told fall of 2000.
: Last Friday I traded in my two month old Audi S4 for a new 328 with Sport and Premium packages. Today, based on my previous ownership of a 1997 M3 and the improvements I see in the current 328 I put a deposit on a new M3 (#5 on my dealer's list, probably January of 2001). Heck, I waited a year for the Audi, I can do this again. So I'll be haunting this board like I did the A4 Org board looking for tidbits, rumours, fabrications, facts, and whimperings from those of us what gots to wait a loooong time. But what a car to wait for! In the meantime, the 328 is way down on power from the S4, but it is much more solid, rides remarkable well even with the sport suspension, has a better gearbox, more comfortable seats, and just drives better. IMHO, of course. Not a bad ride while waiting for the M3, to say the least.
