The M3 0-60 in 4.5 seconds! I find that highly unlikely. I believe that is 911 Turbo territory and Viper territory. Those cars have the torque as well as the rubber to lay that power down. The M3 will be fast but not that fast. I would estimate around 5.0-5.2 seconds.

: No way. It's 3.4L and 345HP. 0-60 in a BMW posted 4.9sec. Actual will be close to 4.5sec.

: I've talked with people inside BMW. I know some of the engineers. They say that the car has to be held back. Could have got to 4.3sec if they wanted. Then who would want an M5.
