My rebuttals are not personal either...

I just don't see the E46 M3 as being a sub 5.0 car. I'm basing this on the current Euro M3 and what I have heard (indirectly) from BMW.

I HOPE it is....but I don't think it will be. I'd rather see BMW put the $ into better brakes and a more luxurious interior...then I might sell the 993 for one (grin).
