At 50K, there is going to be a LOT of unused dealer allocation after the first six months.

: This all assumes that the 4-to-5 per month per dealership allocation figure we've been hearing are accurate. If BMW makes the E46 M3 as scarce as the E39 M5, the price will be high and stay high. However, I don't believe BMW intends to make the M3 one of those "out of reach" type cars - it's only a 3-series car, for goodness sake!
