: : I was driving around last night and I saw an NSX, he pulled right next to me and then he stepped on it and just took off like a bullet. I didn't even bother chasing in him. I knew NSXs were fast but I didn't know they were that fast. What are my chances once I get my E46? what if My E36 was modified? Any thoughts or experiences? I've never driven one are they fun? how do they compare to M3s?

: : Please no flames

: : 99 M3

I'm a fan of BMW too. Had been using them since the 2002 days, but never got sucked into this kind of brainwashing.

Let's see...
- The car that was based on F-1 technology and came out at the time that Hondas were beating the Fords and Ferraris in F1.
- The car was the first sport car with aluminium body.
- The first mid-engine car that was refined to a point of eliminating all the temperamental characters of cars coming from Germany and Italy.
- The car that Honda/Acura lost money on every car they sold.
- The car utilizing all the resources and F1 technology that known at the time.
- The car that was designed based on input from the best F1 drivers of all times, Aryton Senna and Alan Prost.
- The car that was a pure race car, not a sports-sedan.
- The car that ran rings around the 911s.
- The car that if Munich or Milan produced, would cost 3 times as much.
- The car with weight to power ratio as close to F1 as you can get.
- The car with none of the unreliability of the Ferraris, Aston Martins, Lotus etc.
- The car that every reknowned magazine raved.
- The car that was produced 12 years ago and still
can compete with the best of them.
