Ok.. hmmm. The Euro M3 does 0-60 in 5 secs flat and is quite a bit faster than the US car. Also the new M3 is gonna have much more rubber in the rear than the current E36.. so that is not a factor (especially being that forced inducted E36's can run under 5 seconds with stock rubber). I think it will be entirely possible for the new M3 to break the 5 second mark. 6 speed, more HP than the Euro car, and nearly the same weight. Totally plausible.
