Oh damn ... here we go ... I got a 4th generation RX-7 and I'm not even going to try to compare it with a BMW ... SHEESH ... I can't believe anyone would want to compare a $50K BMW with no cup holders to a Civic, which is great for it's price. Thats why they sold alot because of the cup holders for a third of the price of a BMW. If you can push your BMW's over 400hp after spending an additional many thousands of dollars, that's great, but I don't think comparing it to a civic will make the BMW look any better.
