While I am impressed by the amount of work and research you've done, I'm puzzled as to why you feel the need to post it here.

If you are trying to send a message to BMW that you would like them to make a car along the lines of an Integra Type-R, I'm sure that if the market place calls for "more raw, harder more uncompromised cars than the current 6 cyl M3," BMW will answer the call. However, the fact that "Only a few hundred Type-R's will be available from early next year, priced somewhere between 20 and 25 grand sterling" probably indicates what Acura perceives to be the marketplace for the car.

This is a forum for people interested in news about the E46 ///M3. Quite few of us already own E36 ///M3's and virtually ALL of us are BMW fans. I seriously doubt you'll have much luck convincing people on this board that the Interga Type-R is a better car FOR THEM. If you really believe it is, that's fine FOR YOU. I suggest you find a Honda or Acura board to post on and let us get back to BMW's.
