It seems like everyone is piling on unfairly. Hooster is not disputing that the M3 is clearly a superior car to the Integra Type-R. He is merely pointing out that the M3 is a little too refined for his tastes. I've driven a M3 along with the nsx, boxster, s4, etc...in the search for a fun car and found the handling of the m3 to be the best of anything I've tried. It's amazingly easy to drive insanely fast which is great if you're looking to win at the track. However that same drama free character is pretty boring out in the real world where it's not possible to exercise more than 4/10ths of the cars ability without seriously jeapordizing others and losing your license. In the real world because of its smaller performance envelope, it's pretty safe to take a integra type-r to 8/10s and have a blast in the process. Is it more fun when the car is doing 90% of the work of going fast or when it's the driver doing 90% of the work ?

I personally envy the europeans who have the fast fun cars we'll never see in the states. e.g. lotus elise, subaru wrx, mitsu evo iv.
