I pegged my 95 M3 off the speed limiter many a time at 141 on I-95 in RI and MA. But my all time is in a rented 97 Porsche 911 Cabriolet, an indicated 156 mph with four people in the car, the top down and a gear left to go, but I ran outta guts and said, I think thats fast enough.
