: I just discovered this forum, so forgive my newby status and the possibility that this has been discussed. I had an e36 M3 which I totalled. I bought an e46 328i since I needed a car quickly. Really a nice car, but devoid of power commpared to my old M3 (which had Euro HFM and Conforti chip). I just took the plunge and put refundable deposit on E46 M3. My dealer suggested pricing would be similar to E36--is that the case or does anyone know any specifics? Naturally he stated that it would be for sticker price due to high demand for the car. Any details on Euro delivery--how much can you save and can it be done for the M3?

welcome. I also have a 00 328i, my first BMW and I have a deposit down on the e46m3. I agree, I expect it will be 50K out the door, I hope not more. I am actually getting very attached to the 328i, it does so many things so well, so I hope you enjoy it. If you have a chance please let us know where you put down the deposit and where you are on the list.Someone just announced they were #1 in Jacksonville while someone else is #20 in Arlington, Texas.
