Weather conditions for initial Euro pickup? (archive)

I'm first on my dealer's list too and am wondering if the weather conditions in Europe will be fine for rear wheel touring at the time of pickup (Sept? Oct?). Of course, if the pick-up is 6 weeks earlier like mid August, that would be great.

Anyone know what the driving conditions are in Europe for September/October? Any suggestions on the value of Euro delivery during that period?
