BMW will not use turbo or super charger to get the 3.4L to crank out 340hp. Remember Honda has a 2.0L generating 240hp, they use 4 valve head, tuned exhaust and high rpm. BMW gets 340 with high flow heads (variable 4 value) tuned intake and exhaust manifolds, polished ports and chamber design. Basically racing technology is being applied to the street.
