I know they are coming. Aren't McLaren F1s in this country? (never officially imported) I know of someone who owns a Lancer Evo6 and a Cosworth RS. Neither of which were ever officially imported into the US. THe F40 was never officially imported into the US, but was imported by Ferrari. Therefore, it doesn't qualify under the new import rules. Probably the same with the GT3. It doesn't meet safety requirements. The (standard)911 in the US has a higher ride height than it's European counterpart because of the DOT. Anyway, they aren't legally registerable on US roads. (Not even under the special 'show' registration, which would require exhaust mods.)
